Biography:

I am an international student from Bhutan. As part of my honours thesis, I am working on a Comparative Media Analysis of Portrayals of Sexual offending Cases Between India and the United States. Media plays a significant role in raising public awareness and extending as well as shaping opinions about these crimes. This research aims to examine the different ways that media typically reports sexual crimes in relation to a particular society’s cultural and legal factors. I hope to learn a lot from this research and contribute meaningfully to this area of research. After graduation, I will be taking a gap year to gain more experience in research before applying to clinical psychology programs.
