Biography:
Megan is a fourth year Graduate Student in Clinical Psychology at UNB. She received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree at Mount Saint Vincent University in 2017, after which she worked as a research coordinator at the Couples and Sexual Health Lab at Dalhousie University for three years. Megan’s research interests include the sexual health and well-being of individuals, couples, and members of the queer community. Clinically, she has experience working with a range of clinical conditions such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma/stress related disorders. Megan is currently working on her doctoral dissertation, which focuses on both client and therapist’s willingness/comfort discussing queer sex in therapy. In the future, Megan hopes to work as a full-time couples and sex therapist with a specific focus on the queer population in New Brunswick.
