Our Scientific Mission
Located at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, we are dedicated to advancing understanding and promoting positive outcomes in diverse realms of human relationships. Grounded in a commitment to inclusivity and scientific integrity, we strive to conduct innovative research that sheds light on the complexities of sexual health and development, family communication dynamics, and atypical sexual behaviors.
Through scientific collaboration, we seek to uncover novel insights into the factors shaping individual and relational well-being, with a particular emphasis on marginalized and underrepresented populations. Our work explores the intersections of sexuality, identity, and justice, fostering meaningful dialogue and reflection in pursuit of social change. We are dedicated to advancing restorative justice principles in the context of sexual harm and interpersonal conflict. By bridging research, advocacy, and clinical practice, we aim to contribute meaningfully to the promotion of healthy relationships, sexual well-being, and social justice.
