Anna Gallagher

Anna Gallagher is an undergraduate in her fourth year at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) working towards her BA (Hon) in Psychology (anticipated completion of degree in April 2020). In both 2018 and 2019, Anna obtained a summer studentship grant from the New Brunswick Health Research Foundation (NBHRF), funding her position as a research assistant at UNB under the supervision of Dr. Janine Olthuis. Recently, she presented a poster at the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) Annual Convention (2019), titled: An Investigation of the Psychosocial Impact of an Intense Outdoor Challenge on Young Adults: Quantitative and Qualitative Outcomes (Gallagher, Olthuis, Whynot, & Kostynski, 2019). While Anna’s ultimate goal is to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology, in the interim, she aims to accrue further experience working with advanced aspects of the research process, including conducting data analyses and engaging in scientific writing, to better prepare her for graduate research.
